EntrepreneurCountry Nigeria Launches in Lagos

We help Corporates reduce the cost of discovering the 'Digital Enablers' and also reduce the cost of disruption by Digital Enablers. It all happens at and across the European continent.

shutterstock 133414805entrepreneurcountry will officially debut it's Nigerian chapter on the 10th July at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in what promises to be an exciting and inspiring day fuelled by discussions on innovation and disruption. Launched in partnership with Nkiru Asika, CEO of Enterprise Creative, The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry will play host to the event, which will feature an impressive selection of guest speakers.

This, in addition to giving attendees the unique opportunity to connect with high-growth digital startups and large corporates, encouraging partnership and investment.

Amit Pau, director of entrepreneurcountry will be speaking at the event in Lagos immediately after his keynote speech on 'Technology in Pensions' at World Pensions Conference Africa Special . He is excited and positive about Nigeria as a hub for entrepreneurship, 'The dynamic outlook, high mobile internet pen¬etration, and increasing connectivity makes Africa the epicentre for growth, and Nigeria is leading the way.'

Other prominent investors, corporates (Goliaths) and digital enablers (Davids) will be sharing their views on all things digital occurring within the Nigerian entrepreneurial ecosystem. Speakers include Beverly Okoye, Deputy Director at UK Trade and Investment Nigeria. Additionally, there will be two panels on the day focused on both the funding, and entrepreneurship and innovation landscape in Nigeria. Panellists include Bankole Oluwafemi, Co-Founder of highly-regarded Nigerian tech blog TechCabal, and Victor Okigbo, Manager at IDEA Accelerator. Award-winning journalist Tolu Ogunlesi will be moderating.
In the evening, there will also be an invite only dinner at British High Commissioner's residence which will bring together a selection of top Davids and Goliaths to discuss and explore the Nigerian business ecosystem.
